I wanted to share deals with my readers and see if there were any particular products you were looking for when you are online shopping. I am always on the hunt for deals for our family. I am looking for deals on clothes, everyday items, and gifts for upcoming events. Comment with what you search for on Amazon!

Online Shopping

Do you have an online shopping addiction? I swear, I do! Only with deals. I continually see feeds of sales, and I compare the pricing from retail to sale price. Amazon has become the worst thing for me! I find myself searching Amazon at night for so many things. It truly is taking over the shopping world. I love Amazon deals, but I am the type depending on the product I have to see it in person before I purchase it.

I have seen so many people that have youtube feeds about Wish and other companies that I see use Aliexpress or other drop ship companies. When looking for a deal, I have gone to Aliexpress because I said, hey, why not go to the source. That in itself is too much. Many companies sell the same product they say. You will see the same image used, but when do you genuinely get the item that is in the photo. That's a tricky one.

I am curious where has everyone been hunting for their deals. Are you stuck on Amazon or are you a part of a FB group that shows you sales?

Black Friday

Black Friday is right around the corner. Are you heading out to shop, or are you staying in and finding deals online? I want to know, are you already done shopping? I cannot get over how organized people can be with gift-giving. I try I swear I try to be more organized. Last year I was just about done near black Friday, but this year I am not. When I think of shopping now, its what gift card are the kids looking for now. I remember the joy of thinking I found the perfect gift for the kids well that over! My kids have grown up, and now it's I don't want any gift except gift cards. Ugh! Why is it that when they get older, it gets harder to shop for them. I need to find ideas for an I think I am a teenager and a teenager. HELP! lol




  

Good Cop, Bad Cop

This movie I swear is my fiance and I. I feel like I need things in order and planned like Drew Barrymore. When traveling I am the one scared of it all. He loves to play pranks on me when we are traveling. He has gone too far as to make it seem like he went off the side of cruise ship! 

He and I love cruising and once when we went he thought it would be great to hide behind the spot you can't see on the balcony. I am that weirdo that has fears of being sucked off the side of the ship. Yes, I know that cannot happen, but it is my odd fear. 

Well back to the whole blended thing. Fear is something that I have when trying to deal with being blended. The dreadful, am I stepping on toes, and am I that evil stepparent that we all love to say things about when you are a kid.  I often question many things that I say and do. 

When dealing with certain situations I feel like the bad cop while my fiance is the good cop. I take away things and say absolutely not! Am I wrong for that?! I know discipline should be given by the actual parent, but sometimes the stepparent needs to step in. I do not want to raise, bad kids. 

So, the question is should the child only be disciplined by the one parent or do you think both? I know this might be a sensitive question for some. 

Blended Families

I finally clicked back on this blog! I cannot believe it has been 5 years since I have been here writing to you all. Well, in five years, so much has changed. I have been through so many life changes that I have never shared with any of my readers. Well, in the time since I was continually writing to you all, I have gone through a divorce, tried to find myself, and found a new love. I am now engaged and will be going through the chaos of being a blended family.

Have you gone through this? Please share with us all how you have gone about keeping it light and easy for navigating through the waves of exes. I think we all could say good things and bad things, but I only want to focus on positive things.

I want to start sharing my life of all the good and bad with blending families together. I know I am in for a bumpy ride!

This week I am doing my awesome Etsy finds. I want to focus on playhouses. I know all kiddos love those things. While flipping through it, I found ones that I wish I could have had when I was younger. The designs vary so much that I wanted to show you that there is a playhouse for every kind of kid. Time to hide out in your favorite place. Tell me a place that was your hideout or describe your playhouse.

My goodness, it has been forever since I actually took the time to add to this blog. I know my randomness is precisely what makes me me. My kiwi monster is beyond big now!!!! KOOL KOALA ETSY FINDS :)

I love finding amazing products on Esty because everything on there is created by someone locally. I love supporting local artists and when I want something that was thoughtfully created instead of gifts found in department stores I look on Esty. So my friend Jen is expecting a baby in August so I wanted to find some awesome koala bear items and these products I found I want to share with you all.

I did my search in the store and I found this product that I fell in love with!!!

Keeping it a secret :)

I had the chance to find out the sex of the baby, and I wish I could share it with everyone, but right now, we are keeping it a secret. Let's just say I WON!!!!! Mom lost :) The other coach said, "My goodness Marissa why is it that you know before the rest of us?" I have the best intuition, I guess! :)

The theme for the little bundle of joy is koala bears, and it is difficult figuring out baby shower things. I have decided on getting bamboo plates to go with the theme because there are no plates that have a cartoon looking koala bear on it. I have seen the jungle theme, but we only want koalas. If you know any place that has these, please keep me informed.

I am fortunate enough to have such crafty friends and family that have given me loads of ideas for this shower. Also, every baby shower has games, and many of them are getting old now to me. Any suggestions on any odd ones you have played that would be great for the upcoming party I am co-hosting?

I will have to show you the readers all the fun ideas that are floating in this head once I get it going. Also, I want to give a prior thank you to all the people that are helping with making this happen. My family may not like me after I get help on some of these crafty projects lol. Another BABY!!!!!!

So I am excited to finally find out the sex of my best friend's baby on Thursday!!!!!! I can not believe how fast this time is going by for her. I am the coach, and boy, oh boy, I am nervous. Yes, I have a daughter, but I was on the other end doing the work to have my beautiful princess. The hard part I would say for me is trying to keep her focused during it all.
My labor was sad to say one of the most horrific moments of my life. Never ever do I wish my labor on anyone I know. In my mind, I keep saying it's going to go super smoothly and that she no pain in the process. Wow is all I keep saying...I am truly blessed, and I feel privileged to be the one she picked to be in the room.
Thursday I will post what she is having...either way we just want a happy healthy little bundle of joy :)

Wow!

So I finally decided to take a look at blogger, and it has been quite some time since I have posted on here. Life is a whirl wind of craziness...boy oh boy! My Kiwi turns six this year man time flies. I was looking back into my older posts, and I saw pictures of her when she was little. I miss those times the baby stage when all she wanted was me, and now I am lucky if I can help her put her coat on lol. She is becoming herself, and I love learning new things about her daily. Not a day goes by that I believe that she is developing into nothing shy of greatness.
Parents, we all want the best advice, and well, every parent has something that worked differently for each other. I want to hear the stories in which you did when your child got older to see how they are changing through the years. Every month I take Kiwi to see Mr. Dean at a paint it pottery place, so I watch her art evolve into masterpieces :) I'd like to find new ways of watching her development throughout the years. Suggestions, please!

The days are interesting!

So today begins with a day of many questions...am I being the best parent that I can be? Am I effecting someones life? Do I make someone smile everyday? Am I proud of myself? Well to answer all of the above I feel some days not so much but who in life is perfect? I am certainly not but I strive to do my best. I was told recently that I am too hard on myself but who isn't. I guess this little note was to say don't strive too hard to be well at something just sit back and enjoy the moment in which you are in. I am extremely grateful for my family and friends that remind me daily that nothing is considered perfection. Just a job well done. So when you question yourself sit back smile and enjoy those little moments and feel great about yourself :)

Toy Wrangler

I love this product that I am featuring! The Toy Wrangler has been a lifesaver while shopping in the store. We, as parents, like how our kids get feisty and want to throw their cups and bottles to the ground. I AM BACK IN ACTION

Hey, readers, so this week has been an exciting week. I have been busy with life and wow I didn't realize how long it has been since I have been on here. So life is good. The Kiwi monster is turning four in February...man life goes by fast. I never believed many when they would say cherish the moments because they grow up fast. I would laugh and well now I have come to realize man they weren't lying. I wanted to let my readers know that I will be having someone join my blog to write about their parenting experiences with you as well. My best friend Jen will start letting you into her life as well and the crazy moments of parenting. The last few posts were about the Kiwi and potty training. Sorry I didn't inform you guys but yay she is fully potty trained! :) Huge smiles across the board. Thank you for the readers that showed concern to my last post. I love knowing that people care and hope for the best to others. So as I am hitting the scene again what would you readers like to read about? Are you facing issues that you want advice about? Hey Readers

So as many of you have seen I have been on here and there. I honestly apologize to my daily readers. Many life changes happening and many issues I am currently facing. I must thank the man above for granting my wish that my sister did not have tumors on her brain. We as a family have been waiting for answers so now that all is clear and all is well I will begin again. The only news I have now is that I have to learn sign language. So mothers out that have a child with hearing disabilities I could really use advice at this time. I am going to have to relearn some sign language. I used to know basics because my old friend is deaf. All the challenges of the changes begin to surface I will need the greatest and best advice from anyone that is facing such issues currently or had ever faced the issue. I must let everyone know I will be back in action now that I can focus more time into my blog. I will begin posting everyday from here on out. So please look forward to updates on my latest challenge of sign language and being a mother to the world's greatest little lady.

Organic and Why I am trying to Switch!

Many parents out there are curious of finding organic products! I happen to be one of them. I love know that I am not rubbing crazy chemicals into my skin or my families. The best part about organic is that we are not harming the environment in which we are trying to make a better place for our kids. All of those crunchy green moms I envy. So enough I will make it to where everything I do and use is 110% perfect for this world. I want to set standards and I can't help but smile while trying. My recently went to the baby store to look around at bedding. He is expecting a little princess like my kiwi in October!!!! How exciting. Well back to the story lol he came to me and said, "Marissa you will be so proud of me I found two bedding sets and guess what and me being me said what some crazy pattern?" haha He said, "No all organic bedding" and well lets just say I am shocked. My brother who makes fun of me for all organic is wanting organic.
So I am glad I am finally getting to the point where my family is opening their eyes to organic as well. I know many people are still curious and they wonder why so many parents are excited about organic. Hey I started to google organic and find many products and why they are so much better for you and well lets just say I am shocked what many makeup companies hide and what is hiding in your mattress lol. I opened my eyes to a healthy new living and I hope that you will do some research. I mean I am not telling you, you need to buy it but just get started with one or two things and let me know how it goes for you. I am always excited to learn about many new products so open my eyes to another great organic product out there! Every have a happy green day :)
